When it comes to digital art, sometimes I work from a sketch, otherwise improvise directly in Photoshop and Illustrator. The ability to play with multiple layers and transparencies is a pure joy. The Wacom pen and tablet has a light touch, and comes in handy when designing long spindly legs on a wobbly 250 lb. duck.
